TORONTO – The Canada Media Fund (CMF) is providing more than $10.3 million to 14 interactive digital projects as part of the first round of production support from its 2016-2017 Experimental Stream – Innovation Program.
The Experimental Stream encourages the creation of innovative, interactive digital media content and software applications.
The projects include a variety of new interactive digital content including nine games, three software applications, and two platforms using virtual reality.
Including this round of funding, the CMF has already provided more than $154.3M in production funding to 268 innovative projects since the Experimental Stream was created in 2010.
