10-digit dialing starts Saturday in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island

HALIFAX - Ten-digit dialing will be introduced Saturday in Nova Scotia and PEI to help meet a growing demand for phone numbers in the two provinces.Starting August 23, local calls dialed with seven digits may be interrupted by a network message reminding callers that they must dial 10 digits when making local calls.
