Showcase adding “Briarpatch” crime series to lineup

TORONTO — Corus Entertainment’s Showcase will premiere a new crime anthology series, Briarpatch, starring Rosario Dawson, on February 16 at 10 p.m.. The series is set to premiere on USA Network on February 6. Based on the Ross Thomas novel of the same name, Briarpatch (10x60) follows determined investigator Allegra Dill (played by Dawson) as she returns to her hometown to investigate the murder of her sister.
