Ruralwave starts Durham Region fibre build

DURHAM REGION, Ont. — Rogers Communications subsidiary Ruralwave announced today construction has begun on a fibre network project to connect more than 300 homes in the communities of Burketon and Tyrone in Ontario’s Durham Region. The project was announced in May as part of a larger network expansion in Durham Region that is being made possible through a joint investment of $1.4 million by the Government of Canada and Ruralwave.
