With your sound leadership & mentoring background you will be a leader among your peers who will build and support a high performance culture. You’ll be a key driver in our journey towards better performance, ensuring your team meets customer service expectations and organizational goals. As the Service Team Manager for our Complex, Commercial and National customers in the Montreal area, you will be responsible for the supervision, scheduling, and coordination of service activities for a team of technicians and partners. You will be working in a collaborative environment with our sales channels to support and influence positive outcomes for our customers. This position will be responsible for constantly improving the level of service provided to Telus Custom Security internal and external customer base.

Here’s how:
Supporting an engaged, energized and inclusive team that gives their best to residential, small business, commercial and national account customers
Provide training, coaching and counselling to employees to promote and maintain positive relationships with customers, employees and business partners
Mentor and motivate direct reports to improve effectiveness and to address performance gaps
Manage day to day activities of field operations in their assigned branch(s)
Promote a work environment that respects Health and Safety standards
Conduct performance reviews/assessments, fostering a culture of coaching and development
Establish and maintain programs enabling a high level of quality and service to customers for maximum retention
Identify areas of improvement, championing and driving results and superior business performance
Ensure all financial and operational targets (Scorecards) are met
Ensure timely delivery of quality Service work to the customer base
Maintain technical knowledge and provide training on current standards, new products and new techniques
Manage the fleet and the inventory

With your inter-personal skills, ability to lead a team, overcome concerns & objections as required and your ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
You have a strong community presence and involvement
You have a bias for action & a proven ability to not only plan and delegate, but to lead and/or take the initiative to ensure that actions and projects are on track
With your exceptional communication skills, you will succinctly and clearly present and explain tactical plans, expectations and strategy to front line team members, your peers, and your supporting executives
With your talent to lead your team to success and place emphasis on meeting our evolving customer needs and doing so safely
You will use your sound analytical skills to support various business decisions or proposals
With your strong technical proficiency – you have an advanced knowledge of common security products and services and knowledge of various security technologies
Your Clean and valid Class 5 Driver’s License or other provincial equivalent will be needed
5+ years people leadership experience
Familiarity or experience with ADT by TELUS consumer products and solutions
Diploma/Degree in Management/Business or related Technology (or equivalent experience)
