Directly manage a team of Mobile, Connected TV, and React developers responsible for building and maintaining Corus mobile and connected TV products.
Onboarding new team members, coaching and mentoring team members to support their career growth.
Defining the technical approach to products and initiatives and provide inputs and estimates to project delivery plans.
Working with all teams to identify ways to refactor code supporting continuous improvement.
Evaluate current and emerging technologies, and leverage where appropriate balancing cost, integration time, and complexity.
Evaluating current and new development languages for potential cost, performance, and developer availability.
Maintain a Corus Entertainment and industry standard best practice document for code and development practices.
Working closely with product and business leaders to ensure alignment with our Agile delivery framework.

Development languages: Objective – C, Swift, Java, React, Bright script.
Experience in an Agile project delivery environment required.
Nice to have: 1-2 years of team lead/leadership experience.
Good coaching and mentoring skills, likes working with people.
Solutions-oriented thinker – both technically, and operationally.
Organized and detailed, able to multi-task.
Good written and verbal communicator, able to break down complicated technical solutions to non-technical staff and leaders.
