The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.

The Bell Canada/BCE Financial Planning team is responsible for and contributes to all phases of the planning process (i.e., Strategic Planning, Budgeting and monthly Year End Estimates). The team is also required to provide high quality financial analyses on forward looking information to senior management on a timely basis. The successful candidate will actively participate and drive these processes.

The successful candidate will be expected to be a team player and will be part of a dynamic team of four finance professionals.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:
Monthly financial and management reporting of EPS, Balance sheet, FCF and Working Capital, including analysis and variance reports relative to budget, forecast and prior year
Maintain the in-year financial model and update for monthly actual results and quarterly forecasts
Assist to provide detailed financial analysis to the SVP – Finance and Bell/BCE’s executive management team related to the planning process or special projects (e.g., the impact of merger & acquisition activities)
Annual Budget preparation including the review and consolidation of financial statements of Bell/BCE subsidiaries and maintaining model for Bell Canada Non-Consolidated
Ensure continuous improvement of tools, methodology, content and format of all analyses and presentations.
Co-ordination with other finance groups at the business units and corporate levels.

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
Fluently bilingual (English & French)
Good knowledge and experience in accounting (issues and updates) and consolidation
Effective process planning and implementation skills
Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise and SAP would be an asset
Strong Excel skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Deadline-driven and customer-focused
Effective communicator and strong team player
Professional Accounting Designation, (CPA,CA, CMA or CGA)
Strong background in finance (4-7 years of relevant experience)

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
