Our Regulatory Affairs team at Head Office is seeking a Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs – Broadcasting who is passionate about their work and interested in joining a dynamic team.

A typical day

Coordinate the Corporation’s relations with the CRTC and other agencies with bearing on the broadcasting industry (appearances; drafting of submissions, letters of intervention, responses, complaints, research findings; coordination of filings, reports and surveys, etc.) ;
Advise senior management on industry developments and trends ;
Manage the Regulatory Affairs – Broadcasting team ;
Respond to requests for regulatory information and opinions ;
Participate in working committees of Quebecor Media subsidiaries ;
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including coordinating reports and related documents ;
Maintain regulatory watch, including CRTC public notices, orders, decisions, proceedings, requests and other filings, and all related proceedings and interventions ;
Maintain broadcasting industry watch to monitor strategies and trends ;
Distribute relevant information to the appropriate persons.
We are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent experience;
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position with a regulated company, preferably in the broadcasting industry;
Thorough, able to manage priorities, results-oriented ;
A team player with excellent organizational and planning skills ;
Independent, takes initiative  ;
Good command of French and English, written and spoken ;
Familiar with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
