We’re a customer-driven and product-minded team within TELUS, responsible for key Artificial Intelligence initiatives, specifically building and developing Voice and Chatbot solutions.
The Automated Client Experience (ACX) team’s vision is focused on creating automated and contextual self-serve experiences for customers that reduces both customer and team member effort while increasing customer satisfaction. Our team includes a passionate group of strategists, analysts, product managers, product owners, project managers, systems analysts, and other technology experts.
Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together
As a Scrum Master in ACX, you’ll be responsible for facilitating the product development process for the voice and chat bot scrum team. Your key drivers will be enabling the scrum team to meet their sprint goals by helping the team to coordinate their inputs and outputs, facilitating agile ceremonies, aiding in the removal of any impediments and buffering them from any distracting influences. You will employ Agile and Lean methodologies to support the continuous improvement efforts of our teams, as well as share your expertise and experiences with the broader Agile community at TELUS.
You will also work closely with our internal, partner teams, and external vendors, to identify new innovative opportunities that optimize existing functionality and drive operational efficiencies. Collectively, the passion and energy we have will enable us to transform highly complex technologies into great automated experiences for our team members, internal and external customers.
Facilitate agile ceremonies (meetings, standups, refinements, sprint planning, demos, retros)
Facilitate collaboration and remove impediments between cross functional teams
Facilitate scrum of scrums for multi-team projects
Work across our partner teams to enable agile work styles
Record, track and monitor timelines and track the team’s delivery (performance)
Set up and maintain tools (configure and update JIRA etc.)
Report on team performance metrics
Constantly look for ways to optimize team delivery flow
Providing an outside-in view to help the team evolve
Demonstrate passion to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle if you have
3-5 years of experience as Scrum Master working with Scrum, Kanban and ScrumBan
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
Comprehensive understanding of Agile software development
Outstanding facilitation skills and experience
Detailed understanding of software development lifecycle
Proven history of excelling in a team-based, collaborative environment
Outstanding communication, organization, and time management skills
Know for being curious, thinking outside the box to drive continuous improvement
Experience working in complex, multi-project, multi-team environment
Approachable and willing to offer helpful solutions
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
Are known to be resourceful with strong problem management capability
Experience with lean, lean startup and lean UX approaches are an asset
A knack for continually improving processes and practices
A positive, collaborative and friendly attitude
The understanding required to quickly learn new technology and applications
Able to anticipate key risks and execute on risk mitigation strategies
SAFe and LeSS framework knowledge or experience is a plus
