Role will be approximately 50% Sales/Systems Engineer and 50% operations (vendor/internal development team management) and will support sales efforts in North America and UAE.

What you’re great at
• Supporting a sales team of 2-3 members by designing solutions to address customer requirements using existing software/hardware building blocks as well as generating ideas for new product development
• Ability to see the whole picture, dissect and understand existing workflows, and prepare presentations and briefs to keep internal stakeholders in the loop
• Making in-person or remote presentations to effectively pitch the solutions
• Articulating the value proposition and how it fits into the customer’s needs
• Preparing RFQ, RFP, etc. responses that emphasize the advantages of the proposed solution and how it will address the customer requirements and/or benefit their business
• Systems integration, OSI layers 2 – 7, IP Networking, IP Broadcasting and streaming

What you’ve been up to
• Developing and using Solutions Engineering skills using IP networking and broadcasting networking equipment
• Working within the Media Technology or Solutions Integrator industry for 3+ years

What it’s like to work with us
• Remote work, flexible working hours
• Some travel to work with customers, attend trade shows, etc. (depending on pandemic restrictions around the world)
• Ideally you’re based in either Canada (Preferably Greater Toronto Metro Area), UAE (Preferably Dubai Metro Area), USA (Preferably Greater New York Metro Area) or Connecticut, but not necessary for the right candidate

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
• Demonstrated proficiency at systems integration
• Understanding of network management and quality of service concepts
• Ability to troubleshoot basic network problems when/if called upon
• Hands-on experience with IP networking tools
• Good presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
• Independent, self-motivated
