You will be recognized for :

Your contribution to acquisition, disposal, relocation, consolidation and renewal strategies and to analyses of leased space and properties (land, offices, stores, industrial space, technical sites, etc.) ;
Your ability to negotiate, review and analyze documents related to real estate transactions and/or construction (leases, property purchases and sales, easements, rights of way, lease transfers and renewals, etc.) ;
Your legal and commercial expertise, which you apply to leasing activities and defending the organization’s interests in dealings with landlords ;
Your recommendations to internal decision-makers ;
Preparing the annual budget for leases under your responsibility ;
Ensuring that billing is consistent with the agreed terms and monitoring compliance with contractual commitments in existing leases ;
Your support for due diligence.
What you bring to the table

4 to 6 years of experience in commercial real estate ;
Member in good standing of the Bar or the Chambre des notaires ;
Skills in negotiating and drafting clauses to be included in the terms and conditions of legal agreements ;
Strong communication skills, written and spoken ;
Business acumen, creative strategic thinking ;
Strong interpersonal skills, client focus ;
Well organized, thorough, able to manage priorities ;
Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines ;
Familiarity with main lessors (an asset) ;
Adept at financial planning and analysis ;
Fluently bilingual, spoken and written.
