Your role:

You are a Product Owner with a proven well-established work methodology and leadership experience in content creation. You want a chance to lead a team that is as passionate about possibilities as they are about distributing great content that speaks to all Canadians. The mission: create a top new lifestyle digital platform that will inform, entertain, surprise and delight both current and future target audiences, while meeting business objectives.

What your responsibilities will be:
Identify business needs and requirements
In collaboration with a digital strategist, analyze audience needs and capture key user insights
Analyze, prioritize and orient the production of value-added digital content
Guarantee the quality and relevance of production according to the value of given business
Work with a dedicated production team
Participate actively in the experience design process including experimentation and validation with the target audience
Analyze user feedback and performance metrics and propose optimizations in order to grow your product
Develop and maintain the product roadmap
Nurture a culture of collaboration, learning, creativity and fun
Guide the work of a cross-functional team providing mentorship and direction

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:
University degree in marketing, communications or a related discipline
Five (5) years of relevant experience in digital product development as Product Owner
In-depth knowledge of the product development process and digital campaigns
Strong culture and mastery of best practices (UX / UI, media, content, SEO, social networks, mobility, performance)
Good knowledge of performance measurement tools (web, social, etc.)
Multiplatform experience (web, TV, etc.) in the lifestyle space is an asset
Experience in personalization strategies and tactics is an asset

Outstanding collaborator with the ability to rally people from different backgrounds.
Excellent level of spoken and written French. English, an asset, you will work with bilingual teams and a willingness to develop your language skills will be appreciated.
Excellent listening skills and ability to challenge preconceived ideas.
Autonomous, resourceful and quick to analyze.
Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.

Please note that this is a 12-month contract position, renewable annually.
