In this role you’ll be part of the Direct-to-Consumer subscriber platform team that monetizes and manages subscribers of RSM’s high-growth sports streaming products such as NHL LIVE and SN NOW. You’ll help expand, scale and manage the core subscriber platform and its purchase, billing, personalization, authentication and retention customer journeys to deliver exceptional streaming experiences that will help RSM meet its high-growth subscriber and revenue targets.
You’ll be obsessed with understanding customer segments and their needs across the entire journey, determining the next set of problems to solve and bringing empathy, transparency and rigour to your work with accomplished engineers, designers, researchers, product managers, entrepreneurs, marketers, data scientists and senior leaders across the RSM org. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user-first solutions for validated needs and utilize user feedback, strategy and data analysis to help drive decisions that balance our short-term needs with long-term goals.

What you will do…
Own, define and iterate on the paid subscriber experiences on web and mobile across the entire customer journey from purchase and authentication to billing, personalization and retention.
Focus on growing three key metrics: purchase funnel conversion rate, LTR score and retention rate.
Launch next-gen features for customers and internal teams across the entire customer journey.
Manage platform integrations with internal product teams and external partners including Apple, Google and Amazon
Develop validated product roadmap across corrective, progressive and ambitious features by collaborating with key stakeholders on top priorities, timelines, delivery status and launch plans.
Collaborate daily with the UX, business, marketing, customer support, finance and IT development teams to define products, remove roadblocks and evaluate trade-off in order to continuously deliver functionality that make measurable impact.
Obsess over understanding and validating user needs and building intuitive user experiences that help increase core UX and business metrics.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop hypothesis and perform product validation exercises such as user research, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, wizard-of-oz, MVP etc.
Continuously gain working knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and how to utilize it to deliver benefits to our customers and the overall business.
Work closely with Project Managers on IT teams to participate in agile ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, product demos and release plans.
What you will bring…
Digital product experience with high-profile subscription or e-commerce products.
Collaborative leadership skills and experiences to deliver high-growth products as a cross-functional team.
Exceptional problem solving and data analysis skills. Ability to decompose complex or undefined problems into fundamental components and use first-principles to drive solutions.
Working knowledge of industry technologies and trends including e-commerce, subscriber management, SaaS unit economics, sports industry trends, digital user experience; and product management, strategy, techniques and frameworks that help deliver the right products to the right users at the right time.
Communication skills and professional drive to move fast and get things done in a complex, matrix organization
Excellent written communication skills and fanatical attention to detail that is tailored to each user segment and internal stakeholder.
