Division: Programming
Work Status: Full-time
Location: Toronto, Ontario (Option for combination of onsite and remote/work from home)

About the Role:
Corus Entertainment Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Network Scheduler, Global at our Toronto location. Reporting to the Director of Programming, Global & Drama, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the scheduling of programming within the Global Programming team.

You’ll be working on things like:
Support the Director in the creation of the strategic schedule and long term plan for Global.
Provide up-to-the-minute details of programming inventory including summary details of all foreign and Canadian programming.
Maintain tracking reports of programming runs, financial and contractual obligations and communicate updates to internal departments on a timely basis.
Uphold active knowledge and interest in programming and development activities of the US Networks and Canadian competitive broadcast and cable networks to support scheduling decisions.
Act as a key contact to the finance, operations, news, original programming, sales, research, marketing and promotions teams with queries related to the Global schedule.
Complete ongoing review of CRTC requirements to ensure compliance of Conditions of License.
Provide active and enthusiastic contributions to weekly team meetings and co-chair weekly operations meetings to internal stakeholders.
Input programming schedules in the Broadcast system.
Communicate schedule updates in a timely manner.
Other duties as required.

Experience with a Program Management data base preferred.
Excellent working knowledge of Excel to create reports and maintain databases.
Must have extremely high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
Must be a self starter and strong team player with the ability to work with little supervision.
Must be well organized, proactive and have the ability to prioritize work flow and to produce high quality work within specified deadlines.
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Passion for media/entertainment.
High degree of confidentiality required
