Operations Support Systems (OSS) is the department dedicated to key applications that enable our technology teams to actively plan, deploy & operate our networks. As an expert in network service quality in OSS, you will design and integrate solutions to measure the performance of our network and report the key performance indicators as experienced by our customers.
What will you be doing?
You will work in a fast-paced environment in a small, agile team where you will collaborate with teams across the company to tackle complex technical challenges. You will be responsible to communicate with internal stakeholders to establish requirements. You will be implementing monitoring solutions to pro-actively measure the user experience and report deficiencies on cutting edge technologies such as 5G network and IPTV. This position serves as the Technical Expert in network monitoring solutions team. Using Netscout and Gigamon tool, you will have to design and develop reports for Telecom network traffic. You are expected to work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve complex interworking problems, data feed issues and user reported product issues.
You will be coordinating project activities across the organization throughout the entire solution lifecycle, including managing key relationships with our partner organizations. You will build the roadmap and vision for the evolution of systems, and always consider the future in solution designs.

You are a strong communicator who can break down complex, technological explanations to layman’s terms. You are fluent in both French and English. You are ready to collaborate with the team to find an innovative solution to every problem you come across. You are a strong leader who has respect for everyone’s ideas. You can commit to multiple projects at once with changing priorities and see it through to completion.
Your technical skills include:
• Including mobile and land line protocol (3G, 4G, 5G) and ISUP
• Industry experience designing, architecting and integrating enterprise solutions
• Experience in deep level troubleshooting of network protocols – specifically 3G,4G & 5G
• Exposure to wireless networks (HSPA, LTE, 5G)
• Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience
• Understanding of Radio mobile impairment and their impact on quality of service
• Prior experience doing upgrades, installing patches, recreating issues and following escalation protocols are done daily
• Advise customers on network management best practices using NetScout product suite
• Manage caseload within published service level agreements (SLAs)
• Provide best practice documentation on Network Management with our product infrastructure
