Network Analyst - Regina, Saskatchewan

We are hiring for 5 Network Analyst positions.

1) Network Analyst – Telephony Administrator (1 Full Time)

In this position you will be responsible for deploying, configuring and managing Hosted Business Services on our Metaswitch platform along with administration of our corporate telephony system (Avaya) and corporate cell phones.

Main Duties:

Responsible for the administration, maintenance and upgrades of the following systems:

  • Provision Metaswitch for Commercial Customers (new and existing)
  • Provision Metaswitch for Residential Customers
  • Expand Phone Service to Communities
  • Assist in the testing and setup of EMTAs
  • Assist Commercial Sales to Provide Hardware and Software Design Recommendations for all vPBX solutions
  • Manage Phone Interconnections
  • Toll Fraud Monitoring and Investigation
  • Avaya Internal Corporate Office Phone Management
  • Corporate Cell Phone Management

Researching, testing, analyzing and advising on system upgrades, enhancements, and/changes in technology or best practices in system management.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Working experience with Metaswitch Administration. Traffic Shaping. SIP, RTP, RTCP, and DTMF interworking. QoS, BGP,MPLS protocols. Experience with SIP Peering and interconnects between carrier. PBX Experience. Real Time Voice Applications, Avaya administration.Manage and Configure CTMSs
  • Upgrade CMTSs
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain all DOCSIS Modems
  • Configure and Maintain EMTAs devices
  • Ensure firmware is up-to-date on all CTMSs, EMTAs, DOCSIS
  • Ensure proper EMTAs and DOCSIS configuration files are being set to the end device
  • Changes and upgrades to digital box and guides

Researching, testing, analyzing and advising on system upgrades, enhancements, and/changes in technology or best practices in system management.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Working experience with VOIP/ SIP Networking, EMTAs, DOCSIS configuration files. Cable modems and wireless routers. Casa, Arris and Cisco Cable Modem Termination System. DHCP, TFTP and DNS as it relates to CTMSs. TCP/IP, VLANS and Routing Protocols. Usage of tools such as ping, telnet and trace route. Ability to read Nagios and Cacti graphs.

3) Network Analyst – Linux Systems Administrator (1 Full Time)

In this position you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also collaborating with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.

Main Duties:

Responsible for administration, maintenance and upgrades of the following systems:

  • Email System (Zimbra)
  • Provisioning System (Data and Voice)
  • Servers (DNS, DHCP, Glue, SQL, VMWare)
  • System Backup/Disaster Recovery
  • Nutanix (virtualization/ VMware)
  • Storage Area Network (SAN)
  • Monitoring Systems (Nagios, Cacti, Netflow)

Researching, testing, analyzing and advising system upgrades, enhancements, and/changes in technology or best practices in system management.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Working experience with Linux Operating Systems, Linux Email Systems (SMTP/POP/SpamAssassin), Linux Storage, Filesystem & Memory Management, VMWare ESXI server / Veeam Backup Software, Nagios, Cacti, Netflow Server Administration, MYSQL Server Administration, DHCP Server Administration, BIND Linux DNS Server Administration, Linux Routing.

4) Network Analyst – Linux Systems Administrator (2 Full Time)

In this position you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also collaborating with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.
