National Training and Quality Manager

Reporting to the Director, Operations Support and Logistics, the National Training and Quality Manager will be responsible for the delivery of standards, training and quality assurance for both Eastlink’s internal Technicians and external authorized agents. The Manager will lead the Training and Quality team, assisting in both the creation and delivery of technical training programs aligned with the needs of the business while ensuring quality assurance inspections for field installations and maintenance work are completed. With a strong focus on performance metrics and customer experience scores (CES) values, the Manager will identify trends and work with key stakeholders to improve results month over month. The Manager will work with the team to create processes aimed at achieving efficient and cost effective operations while focused on our overarching goal of providing the exceptional customer service Eastlink is known for.
As the ideal candidate you have post-secondary education in an applied science or engineering field (electronics background is preferred) coupled with a least 5 years of experience in Outside Plant knowledge (Fiber/Coaxial Cable Systems) or related experience. Previous experience in adult education would be highly beneficial. As proven leader, you have the ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives within a team approach. You are a proven self-starter with a tenacity for leading and coordinating cross-functional teams with a results-oriented and customer centric focus. You are highly adaptable and enjoy working in a “hands on” environment. You bring a sense of urgency to all that you do and you enjoy the challenges associated with delivering measurable results in a fast-paced organization.
