National Account Manager

Location: Toronto, Canada

TLN Television family is seeking a full-time, permanent National Account Manager in Toronto.

The successful candidate will act as the frontline of the TLN family of channels through the sale of Broadcast and Digital advertising space to Brands and Agencies on the TLN, Univision Canada and Mediaset Italia networks and other TLN platforms.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating, developing and selling strategic TV sales campaigns for the Telelatino family of channels
  • Developing and maintaining a portfolio of clients with a primary focus on generating new business
  • Providing quality customer service with a focus on client retention, loyalty and growth
  • Working interdepartmentally to provide timely efficient service
  • Ensuring the collection of overdue accounts
  • Meeting/exceeding sales to budget expectations
  • Assisting the station in maintaining and/or increasing its community presence by becoming actively involved in the channels and community

You will bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years of media sales experience in Broadcast, Digital or Radio
  • Experience in customer service and proven ability to generate business through networking, cold calling and other prospecting techniques to hit advertising sales goals
  • Strong established relationships at the Agency and Brand levels
  • Excellent organizational, communication and negotiating skills
  • Proven ability to build and present integrated sales concepts relevant to client business needs
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm with a strong desire to succeed
  • Efficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products and a CRM system
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that is based on team and individual efforts
  • Dedication to applying high ethical standards in business
