Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
This is a rare opoprtunity, to join the award-winning Morning Show at London’s #1 Hit Music Station! We’re looking for a driven, energetic Top 40 host that loves the music, and can shine on-air, online, and out in the community.
Prepare and deliver a tight & focused morning show, targeting women 18-44
Be visible! There’s lots to do in London & we need someone who is in touch with our local community and willing to build community relationships, enthusiastically participate in station events and activities, and be an ambassador for the radio station and Virgin Radio brand
Be socially-savvy and connect with listeners on all platforms; you must love generating original content both on-air and across all digital platforms
We have a close relationship with our sister station CTV London, and often produce original video content – so you’ll need to be comfortable behind the mic in the studio AND on camera!
Remote broadcasts and station appearances and occasional non-paid community appearances, as required
Be a personable, active, creative & innovative member of the entire team
Voice commercials (radio & TV) and promos daily
Voice track other shows (in-market and out-of-market) when necessary
Other duties as assigned
Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years on-air experience
Be a creative, positive & contributing member of the team
Must be able to connect and engage with a F18-44 audience, both on-air and through social media
Must have outstanding technical abilities; able to multi-task in the studio
Familiarity with MusicMaster and Wide Orbit Automation is an asset
Valid G Class Driver’s license and a good driving record
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
