You’re a passionate business operations leader who will help the TELUS Digital team excel. As a proven and capable leader, you will lead a team of senior professionals in running the core operations that keep the TELUS Digital team running smoothly, keep on track, and integrate into the core business across TELUS. You’ll lead the team to establish the pulse and rhythm of the business across delivery, results, and reporting. You will bring a strong sense of business ownership and passion for continuous improvement to this role.

Prioritize team coaching, onboarding and hiring as paramount to any other task
Drive team engagement and foster collaboration within the Digital team and across organizational boundaries
Share the vision and support a culture of high performance and continuous learning
Provide support, professional development, and goal setting for your team
Provide critical insights and thought leadership – be a trusted advisor to the Chief Digital Officer and the Digital Leadership Team
Form strong stakeholder relationships across TELUS, acting as a valued partner to Finance, Procurement, IT and Operations
Drive effective operational outcomes
Managing annual budget and financial planning processes with the leadership team, ensuring coordination and integration across groups for cost and benefit
Coordination of annual capital planning process and regular program governance reviews with executive review boards
Facilitate the process of tracking Digital-wide outcomes and benefits realization, and conduct regular operations reviews of those results, tracking the achievement of long-term financial objectives
Facilitate the annual, semi-annual, quarterly, and monthly processes for organizational goal setting, including articulation of priorities, creation of a balanced scorecard, interlock to corporate objectives, and reporting on progress
Be accountable for vendor management and sourcing best practices across TELUS Digital, including conducting of Quarterly Business Reviews, contract negotiations and renewals, and adherence to internal processes
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
At least 3 years of experience leading teams and supporting team members
5+ years of experience in business operations or a related field, including experience establishing business rhythm
Experience working in the technology industry, with experience interacting directly with technical teams
Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles
Valued for your ability to foster collaborative working relationships, through leadership, embracing diversity and new ideas
Skillful in problem solving and resolving issues in creative ways, you can clearly see things from the perspective of customer
Noted for your adaptability, innovation and out of the box thinking, you are curious and never stop learning
Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance (MBA is a plus), or equivalent experience
