The role
As the Manager, Major Accounts Satellite you will be accountable for the following:
• Acquire, secure and renew all available bulk sales opportunities
• Drive marketing agreements and new RGU volume within bulk and new development projects
• Achieve quarterly bulk & new development objectives including total secured contract value, new revenue, new RGU and total new development marketing agreements
• Approval on all bulk and new development agreements
• Quarterly goal setting, sales tracking, monthly sales funnel reviews, team meetings
• Lead, Motivate & Manage Major Accounts & National Technical Support team
• Work with Director, Satellite Sales to design targets, focus areas, and align on promotions and negotiate non-national rates were required
• Manage and monitor effectiveness, budget, people & productivity metrics
• Drive national best practices and standards to enforce consistency and quality
• Manage and improve employee engagement within the MAR & NTS team
• Support the National Support team on scheduling and the delivery of the customer experience model
• Work with the Marketing, Product and Sales teams to ensure we are creating enough business Customer demand to exceed our growth objectives
• Lead and support the development of innovative sales strategies
• Liaise with our Branch Sales Leaders to ensure that effective sales management principles are being implemented to ensure our success
• Define, develop, and deploy sales plans in conjunction with our Regional Sales teams
• Exceed customer growth and revenue objectives
• Monitor industry trends and work with our Product team to design innovative Business solutions
• Monitor and report on sales progress and develop strategies and channels to maximize success
• Promote and represent Shaw in a positive and professional manner

Your skills/experience
• Supervisory and/or Management experience
• Strong knowledge of local Property Managers, Building Developers and others in that vertical is important
• Exceptional sales, negotiating background required
• Understanding of Salesforce, CBS support systems considered an asset
• Proven ability to manage and grow internal/external relationships with business partner and vendors
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess opportunities and risks
• Superior business communication skills that allow you to encourage unscripted, organic and engaging conversations with your team and customers
• Ability to motivate and guide your team
• A positive, “can do” attitude and customer-focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity
• Solid knowledge of Communications industry
• Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and goals
