Cogeco is experiencing an exciting period of growth and is looking for dynamic, energetic and passionate team members who want to be active contributors in this exciting journey. This search is to fill a role for a Marketing Communications manager who will be focussed on supporting our customer base in Ontario
Under the supervision of the Marketing Communications Director, the communications manager will be responsible for the delivery of marketing communications campaigns with a focus on our current customer base (loyalty) while working in collaboration with our agency partners. Their role would be to ensure the planning, development, creation and delivery of tactics for our residential customers for our TV, Internet and phone service. Their expertise will be invaluable in the collaboration with our internal partners for communication strategies and producing multi-channel pieces (traditional and digital channels). They would also be tasked with creating different touch point sequencing in order to automate different programs to drive efficiency and agility. The applicant must have an overall knowledge of loyalty programs.
The communications manager must also work closely with our internal partners and stakeholders – marketing, web team, product and customer operations.
Main responsabilties:
Under the supervision of the Marketing Communications Director, the role would be to develop and execute loyalty campaigns in collaboration with our internal (marketing) and external (agency) partners.
This includes but not exclusive to: brief analysis, creative briefs, creative reviews, production schedules, stakeholders approvals, website alignment, final campaign delivery, budget management and results reviews.
Owning delivery of loyalty campaigns to help drive up overall value for the Cogeco brand, products and services.
Build and deliver communications plans, leveraging 360 view for various communication models – from traditional tactics like letters to digital tactics like emails, SMS and social media notifications.
Must manage their program’s budget to allow for most effective allocation across different channels.
Track results to targets set and to support overall campaign improvements.
Necessary requirements:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or communications (or related field).
8 to 10 years of relevant experience in marketing communications at goods and services companies; experience in the telecommunications industry is an asset.
Bilingual (English/French), oral and written.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks at once.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, and a team player.
Good analytical skills.
Comfortable with of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) is an asset.
