The Manager, Finance will be a key member of the Wireless Team, and will report directly to the Senior Manager, Finance. This role supports the full end-to-end budgeting and reporting process, including forecasting and reporting key Expense financials. The candidate will also work closely with the business to understand and evaluate key trends and to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial forecasts.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills and a clear ability to identify and interpret key business trends and issues. The successful candidate will also have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to build relationships at various levels of the organization and have the confidence necessary to participate in discussions. In addition, the successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently to complete specified tasks under tight deadlines within a fast-paced working environment.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:
Work with the business to identify/validate key business assumptions and incorporate them into the forecast/budget
Streamline processes to improve both speed and accuracy of reporting and planning
Preparation of forward-looking budget and forecast decks for presentation to senior management
Analyze monthly results (financials and headcount) and understand business initiatives in order to prepare monthly commentary for review with senior management
Provide financial knowledge and represent Finance in various Wireless projects
Present monthly results to senior management and executive team

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
A professional designation or working towards one (i.e. CPA) is required
Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills) including experience presenting directly to senior management
Attention to detail and strong accounting acumen required
Strong technical and analytical skills including key performance metric variances
Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
Results-oriented with a drive to add value to the organization
Ability to partner with cross-functional operational and finance teams
Excellent Excel skills and possess the ability to present results in a concise manner leveraging charts and graphs and using tools such as PowerPoint
Strong financial systems knowledge on SAP, Business Intelligence “BI”, BPC, SQL and SAS
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a finance role

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
