Local Tempo has a full-time opening for Manager, Client Insights, located in Vancouver. Reporting to the Director of Local Tempo, with dotted line to the Director of Consumer Insights you will be responsible for developing client and/or category insights through the use of third party databases and Corus primary research; reporting directly to the Director, Local Tempo.

Individual Accountabilities:
Develop client and/or category insights through the use of available third party databases(i.e. Google Analytics, Vividata, RTS, Stats Canada) as well as Corus Primary Research
Develop media strategy aligned with client insights for Tempo client pitches
Brief Digital & Local Sales Research teams on Client/Category insights to ensure those teams have the information to link Corus assists to client’s needs
Integrate with the Consumer Insights team to infuse Corus primary research insights and storytelling into client presentations
Develop client insights using raw data from primary research
Capture client outcomes to feed into case study development
Develop category specific pitch templates to support Sales
Actively involved in supporting Sales in the presentation of client and/or category insights by delivering client insights component of the presentation to clients directly
Help to ensure quality control on all client facing pitches that include insights components
Develop a deep understanding of merging Corus Marketing Effectiveness learnings and practices

Key Metrics:
Clients: Client Insights are consistently delivered on-time and meeting client expectations
Team: Helps Local Sales grow year on year revenue
Financial: Monitors financial and tracking summary reports that correctly capture dollars quoted from projects connected to Client Insights work (SalesForce)

What We Need From You:
8+ years in broadcast or advertising related background
Experience working with Vividata and Numeris PPM data and affiliated software
Ability to analyze and interpret audience research data in a clear, concise manner, summarizing information for the end user
Enthusiastic work ethic and proactive approach with the ability to maintain a professional approach at all times
Highly motivated, creative individual, experience and passion for connecting with current and future customers
Experience managing direct reports, establishing achievable team goals and performing reviews
University or College degree in broadcast media, advertising or related program considered an asset
