The Channel Reporting & Insights team is responsible for creating data analytics with multiple sources and turning it into actionable insights for the business. We specifically analyze channel performance data across the consumer brands (TELUS, Koodo and Public Mobile) and support both the wireless and wireline business. As Manager, Channel Reporting & Insights, you will be responsible for supporting a team of highly skilled individuals on developing performance analyses to key stakeholders across the consumer organization. This includes presenting weekly updates to senior executives, liaising with our partners (DOMO, SAS, SQL), and delivering on ad hoc requests from Marketing, Channel, Finance, Technology and Corporate Strategy amongst others.

Lead the team to deliver daily, weekly and monthly reporting on key performance indicators
Develop new and innovative ways to present reporting insights, with flexibility for users to self serve and drill into the data
Create guidelines for design and development of analytical reports with complex functions in an intuitive format
Work closely with the channel evolution team to articulate new KPI reporting requirements
Own the project roadmap on delivering high impact data projects
Manage the vendor relationship between TELUS and Domo
Candidates must be comfortable working within a dynamic, cross-functional environment and be able to explain complex concepts, performance reporting methodologies, and analysis results to a diverse stakeholder community. Your familiarity and comfort with TELUS wireless and wireline information is desirable and you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and get close to the data.
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
Expert knowledge and understanding of global best practices in business intelligence, performance reporting and supporting tools such as DOMO, SAS, Oracle, SQL, MSBI
Strong business acumen and financial/business case practices
Ability to define scope, objectives, and prioritize work demands within a dynamic environment
Ability to work effectively and diplomatically across all levels of the organization
Consult and influence business stakeholders to proactively add value to information analysis
University degree in Statistics, Economics, Information Management, Mathematics or other quantitative disciplines
Minimum 5 years experience working in a market/business intelligence, database marketing and/or data warehousing environment
Minimum 2 years experience of managing a team
Hands-on DOMO, SAS, SQL, Oracle and MS Office experience
Experience with BT SBI team and TELUS data warehouse
Telecommunications industry experience
