Reporting to the Manager, French Services, Radio-Canada of the North Coast (web, radio, TV), you will work as a reporter based in Baie-Comeau. You must have the integrity and self-confidence to bring our programming to life.
In this role, you will conduct research and interviews, write copy, process audio and video, and produce thorough, fact-checked, dynamic, compelling news content for delivery across various platforms (web, mobile, social media, radio, TV), in accordance with CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices.

You are responsible for updating your resumé and highlighting the skills and qualifications required for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
- Three (3) years’ journalism experience or the equivalent.
- Extensive general knowledge.
- Good knowledge of current events in the North Coast and in the Eastern Quebec.
- Solid command of the French language.
- Knowledge of English an asset.
- Knowledge of communication techniques specific to the platforms (TV, radio, digital), as well as interviewing techniques.
- Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to work well in a team, while being independent, resourceful and self-starting.
- Creative, enterprising and inquisitive approach to fact gathering
- Good knowledge of how to produce digital reports and manage social media.
- Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
