Food is the central character at Gusto TV – Canada’s new food and lifestyle specialty channel.
With an extensive inventory of food/cookery series, and over 100 hours of new content coming available over the next year for TV and online platforms, Gusto TV has set up this international division to distribute its content outside Canada, and is now seeking an experienced program sales executive to spearhead this effort.
Our ideal candidate knows the international TV market backwards and forwards, and has an extensive and up-to-date network of key buyers in all major territories. In addition, he or she will be familiar with the OTT and mobile platforms that are becoming increasingly important content distribution partners. A proven track record in program sales, ideally in the lifestyle genre, is required.
For the right person this is a “ground floor” opportunity to help build an international presence and brand for one of Canada’s pre-eminent media content providers in the burgeoning food and cooking genre.
Gusto TV is based in Ottawa, but we are willing to consider other appropriate Canadian locations for this role. International travel to program markets and client meetings is a requirement.
