If you answered yes to these questions, Radio-Canada Digital Media is looking to hire several intermediate Backend developers for its development team.

You will play an active role in creating innovative projects on Radio-Canada’s major platforms, such as ICI TOU.TV, Radio-Canada.ca and ICI RADIO-CANADA PREMIÈRE. You will take an active role in implementing our personalization initiatives. You will be required to evolve our existing platforms, including our Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) system, subscription platform, and content index (Elasticsearch).

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing the above solutions to meet business objectives
Assist in the management of backlog story of our various products
Ensure that internally developed applications perform well and can meet high demand
Write business rules in the domain layer of Radio-Canada (DDD)
Write automated tests
Participate in sprint planning, retros and applications deployment
Participate in the code review process

We are looking for a candidate with the following:
University degree or equivalent experience
At least four years’ experience as a software developer
Proficiency in C#, TypeScript is an asset
Proficiency in Visual Studio or VS Code
Knowledge of GIT
Proficiency in MS SQL and Mongo databases, ElasticSearch
Proficiency in OAuth 2.0 protocol
Proficiency in ASP. NET Core and Web API
Familiarity with Docker container, Cloud, Azure or other environments, an asset
Knowledge on one or more of the following: Layer7, Viafoura, Zuora, LoginRadius, an asset
Meticulous, self-reliant and resourceful
GraphQL, an asset
Proficiency in French, functional knowledge of written and spoken English is an asset
Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.

Please note that this is a 12-month contract position, renewable annually.
