We’re looking for a talented and competitive Account Specialist (Business to Business Sales) who thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.

In this 12 month opportunity, that offers the possibility of permanency, you are a self-starter, someone who will prospect and acquire business clients that operate in the Small Business space. TELUS Small Business Solutions (SBS) is a dynamic team passionate about driving growth in Ontario by acquiring new small business customers who are in need of business solutions including TELUS Secure Business, Business Connect and our suite of mobility solutions. Successful team members must be comfortable reaching out to business owners, working with TELUS Marketing and enablement partners, generating interest with campaigns built on business intelligence, qualifying leads and closing sales.

Our highly motivated team has a proven track record of growing our existing client base, specifically targeting Small Businesses across Canada. We deliver best-in-class customer service and use a customer first lens for lead generation, marketing and sales execution.

Here’s how
Prospect and acquire new small business accounts by cold calling, cross selling and networking
Understanding of various product and service solutions both wireline and wireless from our small business solutions
Driving discussions about product and solution value to win revenue generating units (RGU’s)
Deliver on our customer first promise by fostering relations, and building trust and loyalty with business owners and stakeholders
Engendering a culture of collaboration and consultative enablement with our team and business customers
Collaborative discussions around customer feedback, marketing campaigns and programs to cultivate positive outcomes and program improvements
Partnering with customer, sales and marketing team to ensure order requirements are understood and met resulting in high order quality
Act as a TELUS ambassador within your community and promote the TELUS brand
Qualifications

Do you have what it takes?
Experience in B2B consultative sales, preferably in small & medium segments, which a track record of achieving positive outcomes
Comfortable working with business owners and enthusiastic towards a great customer experience
Curious and tenacious, with an enthusiastic ability to align small business challenges to the TELUS solutions portfolio
Experience in Telecommunications and Technology sectors would be an asset
A post-secondary education in a related field, or equivalent experience
Ability to negotiate to obtain win-win solutions for the client & for TELUS
Willingness to learn and sell new products and services, while adapting to fast changing environments
A positive team contributor who knows how to build trusted relationships externally and internally
Demonstrated ability to work independently, make decisions, problem solve & think strategically
A capacity to learn, and willingness to use a variety of sales tools, including SFDC
Open to coaching and feedback
