As a collaborative member of the Network Security team, the Information Security Administrator II is responsible for day to day security operations, support, administration and maintenance of the security and network infrastructure.
Minimum of a degree or diploma in technology field and 5 – 7 years of related experience or combination of education, training and experience.
ISC2 (CISSP, Associate, SSCP, CCSP), SANS GIAC (GSEC, GCIH, GPEN) or other security vendor certification highly desirable
In-depth understanding of cyber security concepts
Strong technical skills and troubleshooting superstar
The ability to work on multiple projects / tasks.
Advanced technical understanding of networking (TCP/IP addressing, routing & switching)
Working knowledge of some or all of the following considered an asset:
Next generation firewall, web filtering, IPS, VPN solutions
Security information and event monitoring, remote logging, log aggregation, correlation solutions (SIEM)
Understanding of Active Directory, GPO, LDAP, NAC, Radius and TACACS
Sound understanding of security concepts behind the authentication, authorization and auditing (AAA) framework
Application load balancing, reverse proxy solutions and WAF technologies
Intermediate level of experience working in a Window and Linux environment
Experience working with a VMware or AWS environment
Experience working with scripting and automation
