If you answered yes to these questions, Radio-Canada Digital Media is looking to hire a Fullstack (React/Redux/TypeScript/GraphQL) Developer within its development group.
You will play an active role in creating innovative projects on Radio-Canada’s major platforms, such as ICI TOU.TV, Radio-Canada.ca and ICI RADIO-CANADA PREMIÈRE. Your responsibilities as part of the team will include planning, prototyping, implementing, unit testing and supporting enhancements, feature requests, bug fixes and, of course, documentation.

Design and/or modify reusable web components
Develop entire features and take full charge of the following aspects :
Understand the JIRA story and complement the acceptance criterias if needed
Read the data from our MongoDB via GraphQL through the Apollo implementation
Build the required EndPoints for your REST API in order to meet the requirements in the JIRA Story
Transform the data read into DTOs that can be used in the FrontEnd
Build the visual components that compose the UI of the feature to build
Build the required tests to ensure that the feature covers the acceptance criterias in the JIRA Story
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
University degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency with React/Redux, or similar framework (AngularJS, knockout.js, etc)
Proficiency in TypeScript
Knowledge of GraphQL an asset
Knowledge of .NET (C#) an asset
Experience with NPM and Node
Experience with Git
Knowledge of object-oriented development and design patterns a definite asset
Experience with an Agile methodology (Scrum)
Ability to be thorough, work independently, and be resourceful
Analytical and conceptual mind
Ability to work well in a team, excellent communicator
Proficiency in French, functional knowledge of written and spoken English is an asset
Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
