Position Summary:
As a member of the Wireline financial team the Finance & Business Specialist is responsible for providing assistance to the business unit with monthly financial (revenue and EBITDA) analysis; analyzing key business metrics (subscriber and ARPU); and assisting in the development of financial forecasts which includes monthly outlooks, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and the three-year Long Range Plan. This position works closely with all levels of management in the development of forecasts and review of monthly performance. This position uses KPI analysis to identify issues and opportunities within product performance and works with Product and Channel Management teams to identify and evaluate tactics to optimize performance.

Primary Qualifications:
Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CA or CGA).
Extensive experience with financial management and accounting systems.
In-depth experience in revenue, expense, and financial reporting analysis and the development of forecasts and budgets.
Extensive experience in development and management of financial forecasting models and supporting assumptions.
Extensive experience developing reports with the ability to analyze information and document findings for consideration by Bell MTS BBM team.
Experience in the identification, review, and evaluation of internal controls, including recommendation for improvements to the internal control environment.
Experience with SAP, with a particular emphasis on the PA, CO, and FI modules.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel and Access, including proven ability to use pivot tables and develop graphical presentations.
Experience preparing and delivering presentations.
Experience in a multitasking environment with competing deadlines.
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Knowledge and understanding of Business products and services, including key performance indicators and linkages between revenue, expense and capital as they relate to specific products and services.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen sense for details.

Secondary Qualifications:
Exposure to and understanding of the BPC and BW systems.

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
