With headquarters in Atlantic Canada, we are currently looking to grow a new team in Vancouver, British Columbia (and surrounding areas). We are looking to fill the position of Field Supervisor to oversee the team and area.

As a member of our field team, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the British Columbia Region while working with members of various Corporate Office departments to facilitate and maintain areas such as; Budget Management, Quality Assurance and Safety Management, Employee Management, Customer Relations and Operational Functions.

Additionally, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and technical expertise while supporting the installation of a suite of telecommunication products in customer locations. You will also naturally be committed to safety and working in a safe work environment by demonstrating safe work practices.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities may include:

  • 80% Supervisory; 20% Field related duties

  • Fleet management and maintenance

  • Quality Assurance and safety checks

  • New Hire field evaluations and onboarding

  • Provide guidance and coaching to staff regarding performance and productivity

  • Complete Performance Reviews

  • Progressive Disciplinary actions and create Performance Improvement Plans

  • Deal with customer escalations appropriately

  • Investigate damage complaints and determine suitable course of action

  • Create and manage Employee schedule

  • Monitor CSG and ensure jobs are dispatched accordingly

  • Manage stock and determine needs to ensure inventory is available when required

  • Oversee and approve Technician timesheet submissions and review GPS reports

  • Ensure Safety requirements are met and maintained at all times

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 3-5 years in a supervisory position

  • Relevant industry installation and repair experience is considered an asset.

  • Ability to travel to other areas of the region and country when required.

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Experience with budget and fleet management considered an asset

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to consistently meet and achieve outlined metrics.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Background check.

  • Valid provincial driver’s license coupled with a satisfactory driving abstract.
