The Director, Business Architecture is responsible for the holistic B2B strategic blueprints to fulfill our market strategy and customer experience vision while incorporating operating and business strategy. In addition, you will lead our system, platform and data strategy in partnership with our technology/IT peers as we continue our B2B digital transformation. You, as the Director of Business Architecture will build and lead a new team of highly engaged professionals through a variety of fast paced and exciting challenges. Here are the competencies we are looking for:

Ability to understand corporate business strategies and goals, and apply this understanding to make B2B systems/technology development decisions
Develop long term strategies to enable our B2B Digital Transformation supporting our market strategy, product capabilities, customer experience journey and value chain enhancements to drive profitable outcomes for the company
Drive, influence and support strategy through expert knowledge cross architecture domains and understanding of downstream impact on cross-functional teams including other business units
Obtain cross functional and executive alignment on system, platform and data roadmaps
Lead a team of architects, strategy managers and business analysts to develop & manage B2B capability maps, value streams and other B2B business architecture artifacts
Work with our CIO and data governance teams, evolve our B2B systems in support of faster time-to-market and lower development costs
Enhance our governance and reporting capabilities to drive better B2B decisions and business outcomes
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Practical knowledge of service development and product management methodologies and processes
Practical knowledge of architecture frameworks and proven leadership in the development of architectures to support the business strategy
Financial analysis and business case development experience
Strategy development methodologies
Strong knowledge of wireless/fixed broadband, Telecom IT systems and platforms
Performance management and leadership methodologies
Engineering, IT or related technical degree with MBA preferred, or MBA with strong technical background and demonstrated experience/competence working with IP, wireless and related technologies, or 7+ years business background in a technology industry with relevant experience in a product management or development role
