Noovo is creating a news service for TV and digital offering a new voice to Quebecers with a modern tone and format. We are looking for a Digital Community Coordinator with impeccable French and a good knowledge of English to join our expert team of Producers, Editors and Technicians. We will focus on bringing an exciting new voice to daily news for Quebecers and want to inform Quebecers in a different way; more in tune with today’s consumer habits.

Position: Digital Community Coordinator
Location: Montreal, QC
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Job status: Regular – Full Time

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management, growth, strategy and activation of our digital communities on all digital platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok and others)
Actively take part in developing the social strategy
Analyze data and performance statistics on each platform and shape recommendations for the editorial team
Write engaging copy and ensure the newsroom’s editorial guidelines are followed
Develop and execute a content calendar in partnership with the newsroom’s editorial, product and communications teams
Ensure the newsroom’s content’s discoverability on social platforms
Keep up with latest trends and best practices on social networks
Contribute to coaching editorial staff on best engagement practices
Suggest, workshop and develop visual elements to sustain engagement
Assist and support journalists with their online presence
Optimize and publish acquisition and engagement campaigns

Qualifications:
Minimum two years’ experience in community management
Full proficiency in French and good understanding of English
Good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere)
Efficient handling of content in tight delays
Graphic design capacities an asset
Good understanding of tools like Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Later, Facebook Business Manager and other applications an asset
Only candidates with portfolios will be considered

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
