Eastlink is presently seeking a Construction Coordinator to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Outside Plant Projects Manager, the Construction Coordinator will play a key role responsible for overseeing the quality and efficiency of construction services, Site surveys and projects throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Inclusive of coordinating the daily activities related to all aerial and underground plant construction, the Construction Coordinator will complete site visits, provide recommendations for routing and pole positioning as well as meet with external stakeholders to secure clearances and permits. Responsible for providing updates to internal and external customers, the Construction Coordinator will work to ensure that all projects comply with relevant standards/ regulations and are completed on time and budget. The Construction Coordinator will also assign day to day project activities to internal staff and contractors while contributing to the effective operation of the Engineering Construction team.


As the ideal candidate, you have an Engineering related college diploma or comparable experience coupled with 3 years of experience in Fiber Optic and Coax technology and construction. Your previous project management experiences are only enhanced through your ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize work. Focused on the details, you strive for not only timely but also quality results. A customer service orientated individual, you embrace opportunities to collaborate with your peers and key stakeholders while working within a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

A valid driver’s license is required for this opportunity.
