Rogers is seeking to fill the new position of Security Change Coordinator, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Digital Identity Production Support (ESF), within Information and Cyber Security Unit (ICSU) at Brampton Campus.  This individual will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the Security Change Approval Gate (SCAG) process
  • Conduct daily change review meetings
  • Work with technical and operational teams to create/schedule change records in ServiceNow tool for the entire ICSU team.
  • Participate in IT Change Management meetings to obtain approvals for ISCU changes
  • Ensure prompt change record approvals and closures
  • Work with ICSU management team to ensure that internal change processes are followed
  • Monitor change progress and ensure prompt documentation updates
  • Conduct Post Implementation Review (PIR) for all ICSU changes
  • Follow up on PIR outcomes to ensure continued improvement for quality of changes
  • Develop and maintain documentation for ICSU Change Management and Security Change Approval Gate processes.
  • Based on Java and/or Python, develop new and maintain existing automation solutions for reporting of changes.
  • Provide daily change and incident report for the ICSU management team
  • Collaborate with external teams on change management planning and delivery

Experience & Education

A recognized under-graduate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related discipline

Minimum 3 year in an IT support role

Minimum 1 year experience in ITIL driven environment

Experience with IT Change Management practices

Preference will be given to candidates with current CISSP certification

Technical Skills

Solid knowledge of ITIL framework

Experience in ServiceNow tool operations

Proficiency in MS Office 2010 or higher

Applied knowledge of SQL/MySQL

Basic programming skills in Java

Knowledge of HTTP operations preferred

Knowledge of Identity Management preferred

Knowledge of Cyber Security Operations preferred

Competencies

Excellent spoken and written English

Highly personable and enjoys working with people

Broad technical knowledge with the ability and desire to learn new skills

Excellent analytical skills
