Business Systems Analyst –

As a Business Systems Analyst with, you will oversee organizational projects that effect multiple departments while working alongside users to develop fully flushed out requirements for projects. This individual will work alongside stakeholders to project and deliver results that will make the organization more successful in the development of culture, business and ROI.

The ideal candidate will work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that improves corporate processes. To be successful, the business systems analyst’s focus will be on process design, process reengineering, business requirements, gap analysis, data flows and provide overall support for the growth of our business.

What you’ll be doing:

Work closely with broad user groups to coordinate and complete Operational Excellence activities to support sponsored projects and enhancements by documenting and developing current state process flows.
Identifying the current- and future-state business processes.
Assisting stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
Gathering all relevant information from required stakeholders (requirements, flowcharts, etc.).
Preparing requests for proposals and conducting necessary meetings to facilitate selection of projects.
Preparing Gap Analysis.
Participate in the discussions of the functional spec & technical design
Bringing project proposals to senior leadership to determine overall priority of project.
Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
Create and build Operational Excellence Culture through inclusion, engagement, communication, and celebration.

The successful candidate will have:

5+ years of professional BA/BSA experience – prior experience.
Strong technical acumen.
BA certified or equivalent experience.
Strong experience in user testing and project management.
Strong experience in the Telecom space.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and independently.
Proven project management skills with attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
Be a change champion within the company and network by prompting questions and promoting team-based behavior.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in production support is an asset.
A high standard for work ethic and quality is required.
Have an academic/professional background in Project Management, Information Technology or Computer Science.
Thrive in a fast paced environment.
Effectively analyze and document business processes.
Bring clarity to business processes that may not be well understood by stakeholders themselves.
Implement process improvements.
Translate business requirements to technical specifications for implementation or development.
Successfully manage multiple projects of varying scope, size, and complexity.
Have the ability to translate conceptual requirements into business and functional requirements.
Involve and coach business leaders in preparing for and sustaining change.
