Business Sales Assistant – Eastlink

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Sales, the Business Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Business Sales department’s activities while providing superior customer service to both internal and external clients. The Assistant will provide a full range of administrative support services while collaborating with Account Executives, Inside Sales and Technical Support teams to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain and prepare various departmental reports;
Complete customer credits and billing correspondence inclusive of resolving customer billing inquiries;
Process department purchase orders and maintain office equipment and supplies inventory;
Coordinate department events such as new employee orientations, the Sales Executive Club, and networking initiatives;
Implementation of special packaging change projects and new projects as required;
Assist the Business Sales team with other projects as required.
The successful candidate will be customer focused and require a high level of organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, anticipate the needs of others on the team and pay close attention to details.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education focused in Business Administration or equivalent experience;
3 years of previous experience working in a Sales Support, Administration or relevant role;
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CSG and MIND;
Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines without sacrificing work standards
A high degree of proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to develop/generate tracking and sales reports;
Strong administration and organization skills required;
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills;
Self-motivated and deadline driven;
Participate in and support a positive work environment.
