Dome Productions is looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, is technically minded and knowledgeable in live sports production to fill the role of Operations Manager in our broadcast operations centre. In this role you will lead the operations and engineering team that supports virtual ad replacement on live events.


Lead the entire team comprised of Engineering, Supervisors and operational staff
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the service
Monitor operational /service issues and follow through on effective problem resolution. Ensure event reporting and detail for issue occurrence and resolution.
Ensure that staff and freelance personnel are kept informed of operational processes and specific details as required.
Ensure that all staff and freelance personnel fully understand the nature of the service being rendered
Ensure that staff and freelance personnel are properly trained in the specific operational area for which they are responsible for executing
Manage the day to day fulltime and freelance staff including;
Manage client expectations and requirements based on current contractual obligations.
Ensure that all service requirements and deliverables are available, booked and met.

Skills / Requirements

College degree related to the broadcasting industry required. A University degree would be an asset
Previous management experience related to personnel, policies and objectives
3 to 5 years of experience working in technical operations either in studio and/or mobile production
Have a good understanding of the television production process
A detailed oriented team member with strong customer service and organizational skills and the ability to participate in high functioning teams
Flexible with respect to hours, days worked and travel in order to meet the needs of various clients and staffs

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
