The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. We’re looking for innovative team players ready to take some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country to the next level.

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, early mornings. Overtime as required.

Specific responsibilities include:

Co-host CTV Morning Live and anchor CTV News at Noon
Generating original story ideas
Editorial decision making. Maintain and developing relationships with key stake holders in various areas of the market including; economic, political, industrial, retail, law enforcement.
Participating in editorial meetings
Producing, writing and posting editorial content for station digital and social media platforms
Moving between the roles of breaking news anchor and lifestyle host with credibility
Assisting with morning show strategy, utilizing all available resources
Shoot and edit show material as needed
Demonstrating professionalism and leadership on the job and in the community
Representing CTV News at various community and charity events
Other related duties as assigned


A degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary broadcast or related program
At least five years’ experience anchoring or hosting on-air in a television or radio newsroom
Must be equal parts hard-news anchor and lifestyle host, with the ability to present both styles in an appropriate and credible manner
Strong on-air presentation skills
Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work unsupervised and make quick decisions
Possess strong editorial judgment
Solid knowledge of broadcast law
Excellent news judgment, writing, research and production skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
Must be well versed in a variety of computer programs as well as having a familiarity with the Internet and social media
Must have and maintain valid documents required for travel to the United States
Residing within the limits of the Perimeter Highway is considered an asset
Must possess a valid Class 5 or equivalent driver’s licence


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
