Eastlink is looking for highly motivated and sales driven individual to assume the role of Account Manager, Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) based in Halifax, NS. The objective of this role is to build and maintain strong relationships with developers and property managers in the MDU community and execute sales plans/initiatives for their properties to drive RGU and revenue growth within the MDU market.
The Account Manager is the face of Eastlink for all key stakeholders and their tenants at partnered buildings. They will be responsible for conducting regular business reviews with their direct contacts, ensuring all aspects of the partnership agreement are being executed and identifying opportunities for revenue and RGU growth within their properties. The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans by implanting key selling initiatives and utilizing internal resources to hit their revenue and penetration targets in their portfolios. Some activities include hosting lobby events, executing product demos, holding staff and tenant education sessions, ensuring marketing and promotion material is relevant and up to date, coordinating direct sales initiatives and ensuring sales leads are effectively delivered and converted. This role works closely with the regional sales and marketing team.
The candidate will need a vehicle, a valid driver’s license and do to the nature of the role will need to be available to work evenings and weekends when required by the business. To be successful, the individual will be results oriented and have a strong commitment to customer service. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in business and will have experience in account/client management. Experience and knowledge of the telecommunication industry and/or the MDU industry is an asset.
