Account Executive – Broadcast Dialogue &

The Opportunity:

Canada’s leading media industry trade publications, Broadcast Dialogue and, are now under common ownership. We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our team!

You Are:

  • Bold and ambitious with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals
  • Experienced in business-to-business sales and familiar with media vendors
  • Excited to join a growing company that serves the media ecosystem
  • Eager to leverage both online meeting solutions remotely and in-person events to connect with clients and create and foster relationships with buyers

The Role:

  • Learning about our publications and appreciating their role in the lives and careers of media industry professionals in Canada who rely on them
  • Prospecting new clients and growing the significance of existing relationships
  • Creating and delivering presentations that uniquely meet the client’s needs
  • Developing strategies to market our advertising, content marketing, podcast offerings, as well as our annual Canadian Radio Awards and The Great Canadian Suite Event at NAB Las Vegas
  • Participating in weekly team gatherings: creating, collaborating, and contributing

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience selling creative ideas and digital / traditional advertising
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Familiarity with vendors to the media and telecom industries is an asset
  • Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and knowledge of CRM platforms
