WINNIPEG – Gains in MTS Allstream’s growth services portfolio – which include wireless, converged Internet protocol, unified communications, digital television and high-speed Internet services – were the principal drivers of a “solid” third quarter, the company announced today.
In the third quarter, revenues from growth services increased by 9.5% to $213.1 million, which accounted for 44.4% of the company’s overall revenues in the third quarter. The company reported an overall year to date growth of 2% in revenue and 1% in EBITDA.
"MTS Allstream delivered another quarter of solid growth despite challenging economic conditions," said CEO Pierre Blouin. "Overall we grew revenue, free cash flow, EBITDA and EPS and continued to build our customer base, acquiring more than 19,000 new customers during the third quarter from our growth lines of business."
