ABOUT COMMTECH

The Canadian CommTech Show & Seminars made its debut in Kelowna, BC, in 2006, and in 2015 celebrated its 10th Anniversary. May 2013 thru 2015 COMMTECH WEST took place in Calgary, Alberta with TELUS, POWER & TEL and JDSU as Platinum Sponsors. In April 2014, COMMTECH EAST premiered, only 15 minutes from the Toronto International airport. Early supporters that helped make this new show possible were the ROGERS, POWER & TEL, JDSU, SCTE Ontario and the CCSA.

This multi-industry show is all about content and value and caters to all areas of the communications industry in Canada. Registrations include all the necessities to simplify expense accounts and make it easy on the budget. Management are so grateful for the amazing support the industry has provided and the sponsors who allow us to provide so many extra benefits for all who attend.

WHO EXHIBITS

Over 80+ indoor and outdoor suppliers and industry associations from across Canada and the United States showcase their products and services for both days. Industry professionals are easily accessible throughout the show and are great to troubleshoot ideas and provide recommendations to assist our attending companies grow their businesses and efficiencies.

WHO ATTENDS

Approx. 150 attendeecompanies visited COMMTECH EAST,  and 100 companies at COMMTECH WEST in 2015, attending 25+ seminars, workshops & demos. Attendees joined us from services providers in the Cable, Telco, IPTV and Wireless sectors as well as contractors, engineers, planners, and IT professionals from government, regulatory, municipal, utility, oil and gas, and related industries.

GIVING BACK

We welcome Education Professionals who train today’s youth for tomorrow’s communications needs by providing complimentary entrance to industry-related Students. In 2016, our CommTech West Golf Tournament provided a local bursary to assist a talented SAIT Communications Technology student, and also donated to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
