Burman takes on new role at Al Jazeera

DOHA, QATAR – After launching Al Jazeera English in Canada earlier this month, Tony Burman will move into the position of chief strategic advisor for The Americas to accelerate expansion of the international news channel in the North American market.Burman, who has been managing director of Al Jazeera English since May 2008, will continue in this position in Doha until the end of June.
