SaskTel finishes Moose Jaw fibre rebuild

MOOSE JAW - SaskTel announced Friday it has completed the residential build for its fibre network in Moose Jaw, which it says makes the town of 33,000 just west of Regina, the largest fibre community in Western Canada.Since beginning construction of the fibre network there in 2013, the provincially-owned telco has invested approximately $30 million to convert the city to SaskTel’s infiNET network, reads the press release.The portion of the new fibre network serving businesses is 95% complete and the remainder will be complete by the end of November. “We are extremely pleased with the progress of our fibre deployment...
