Groupe Maskatel rolls out 1 Gbps service

SAINT-HYACINTHE, QC - Residential and business customers of Groupe Maskatel will soon have access to Internet speeds of up to 1 Gbps, the company annouced this week.The new packages will be available later this month in the municipality of Saint-Guillaume and in select areas of Drummondville and Saint-Hyacinthe. The service will expand to all service areas in Montérégie and Centre-du-Québec (where the technology permits) by this Fall.Residential packages will vary between 25/10 Mbps and 1G/100 Mbps, with unlimited download capacity.
