WHISTLER – The staff of the Canadian Cable Systems Alliance put together another strong Connect conference where independent operators met, networked and celebrated their own.
As the organization searches for a new CEO after a painful split with it’s former chief executive and grapples with change, the gathering could not help but have a bit of a different feel than in years’ past, but the conference still drew about 250 delegates who checked out the latest and greatest in new programming and new technology, discussed myriad best practices amongst each other and celebrated the best in community TV with the Tuned-In Canada awards (which we helped judge and reported on the winners, here). Pictured is CCSA acting CEO Jenny Bosien with award-winner Mike Fiorini of Cable Cable.
Check out our photos below of the winners and the successful conference and read the rest of our coverage here and here. (Ed note: Something has gone a little wonky with our photo tool.
